Millinery
A touch of the feminine can be seen in
this unit. Ladies hats from the 1940's and 50's are displayed.
Decorative lace from the Philippines, long gloves, hat pins, both plain
and elaborate, a beautiful jewelry box and ostrich feathers worn in hats
from the late 1890's and early 1900's can all be seen. Above the shelves
hangs the picture of a lady in a feathered hat with ribbons tied under
the chin. Also shown with this display is a photo of one of the two
early millinery stores in Creighton.
