Bedroom
This area highlights a brass bed,
covered with a beautiful quilt made in 1929 by rural women west of
Creighton. The room also contains a wash stand, pitcher and bowl, plus a
man's old hair dippers, shaving brush and a black leather circular box
with silver medallion on lid, used for stiff collars. An oak
stand/dresser for a woman, is seen on one side of the bed. It holds an
embroidered towel and silver brush, comb and other ladies' items. A
small doll trunk, doll cradle and bed range from 50 years to over 100
years old. A rug was obtained from the former Park Hotel.
