Medical, Pharmacy And Dental
A glass topped display cabinet contains
professional treasures. Small tools from dental offices, a gram scale
and weights from a former pharmacy workroom, plus a small leather case
of medicines, carried by a doctor when he made house calls are all seen.
In the area is a 1930 vintage wheel chair, bedside table, enamel
wash basin, enema can, bandages and soap plus a newer version of same.
Donated by the hospital are memorabilia from Dr. Wright, a long-time
Creighton physician, both a white nurse's uniform and a candy-striper's.
On the wall above this display hangs two oil paintings of cats and dogs,
done by Orin H. Bruce, the founder of Creighton.
