Veterans

This alcove or area is dedicated to the men and women who served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Gifted and loaned uniforms represent the various branches of the military. However, memorabilia from the Seabees is limited to patches and scrapbooks. One gifted army uniform was worn by Otto Hrbek, who was the driver for General MacArthur. Newspapers, photos and scrapbooks are available for perusing. Gifted to the Center is a framed collection of 12 men from this community, who served during WW I in both the Army and Navy.
